Class 08
A familiar sight at depots and freight yards around the country, the class 08 shunter has been a mainstay of British railways for many years, with a design dating back to the pre-Nationalisation days of the LMS.
This is the new Hornby model, finished in BR green, with all the features (or should that be gimmicks?) we've come to expect from Hornby's recent diesel outline locos. Opening doors and highly detailed interior decoration mark this out as an authentic masterpiece. It runs exceptionally well with a realistic scale speed.
