Class 155 “Super Sprinter” DMU
155344 is past its Selby date
Dapol were quite unlucky with this one. No sooner had they released their Class 155 Super Sprinter, then British Rail decided to convert nearly all of them to Class 153 single units, rendering this model out-of-date almost immediately!
The tooling has since passed from Dapol to Hornby, who continue to produce the model. Charlesworth's example is in West Yorkshire MetroTrain livery. The model depicts the train as it would have appeared in the late 80s/early 90s.
