The last couple of weeks have been soooo boring. I get up, I go to work, come home, check my e-mail, watch a bit of TV, go to bed. Weekends are the same, except without the work bit.
Ho-hum. I keep expecting to get a phone call from God: “hey Rob, long story short: massive cockup in the admin department, you should be living Colin Farrell’s life. Can you come to the office next Wednesday and we’ll get it all sorted out?” Now that would be interesting.
I’m sure I’ll find my niche in life eventually. I just hope it happens sooner rather than later. I’d like to have time to enjoy it. It’s all very well finding happiness when you’re 85, toothless and nearly senile, but it’s no good if you drop dead the next day.
I used to enjoy writing; a few months ago I was mooching around the BBC Writer’s Room site and, inspired, dug out an old sitcom idea I had when I was about 14 years old. And you know something? With a bit of tweaking, it might not be half bad. Maybe I should take a second look at it.

You should try to write a sitcom. I had a great idea about a comedy involving a grumpy hotel manager who had an incompetent spanish waiter, but apparently it had been done before.
I was going to call it “Cheers”.

Hey Rob, as you are moderator of the MST3UK group I should bring it to your attention that there’s a spammer in our midst….he/she uses the ID steve8ffersa’s – if you go to the files section of the group you can see they’ve posted junk links – please, for the group, can you kick this person out?
Ps….nice site u’ve got here 🙂
