Rail Rover trip 2006
The Freedom of the North West rover offers phenomenal value for money. Priced at just £60.00 (£39.60 to Railcard holders), it allows the use of almost any train after 0845 across North West England, for 7 days.
In October 2006 I took a week off work and travelled around the North West, covering as much track as I could. I present my log of my travels below, with pictures and some background information. I do not pretend to be a photographer, nor an expert on the minutiae of the UK railway scene. However I would be interested to have your comments.
