The Freedom of the North West rover offers phenomenal value for money. Priced at just £60.00 (£39.60 to Railcard holders), it allows the use of almost any train after 0845 across North West England, for 7 days.
In October 2006 I took a week off work and travelled around the North West, covering as much track as I could. I present my log of my travels below, with pictures and some background information.
